Looking back it seems as if we have had a fantastic year for our range of campervan conversions, especially our Renault Trafic Campervan, the Hartington. Our variety of campervans are designed to be used as both everyday vehicles and as the perfect holiday companions. This year they have managed to pick up some pretty great awards. Practical Motorhome Magazines’s Motorhome of the Year Awards 2018 and the Caravan and Motorhome Club’s Motorhome Design Awards 2017 both saw us win some pretty impressive awards, including four in first place.
Winners
The Renault Trafic Hartington
First up is the Hartington, our Renault Trafic campervan with a hightop roof in addition to a long wheelbase. This year the camper has outperformed the rest of our range, bagging itself two first place awards. To start with it won first place in the van conversions up to £42,000 category in the Motorhome Design Awards this February. Meanwhile the Hartington won first place for the Best Hightop Van Conversion in the Motorhome of the Year Awards.
Still a relatively new campervan, the Hartington is already stirring up a storm. With the rear L-shaped interior, fully enclosed washroom and stylish design just scream luxury. Feel free to have a look here for more information.
The VW Birchover
Secondly is the Volkswagen Birchover, our most evolved and perfected model. We were all pretty chuffed to see the VW based camper snatch up another award, this time grabbing first place for Camper Vans over £43,000 in the Motorhome Design Awards 2017.
Take a look inside to discover more. Our core VW campervan combines the traditional side kitchen layout with innovative ideas and clever technology.
The Renault Trafic Ellastone
Our final first place winner is another Renault Trafic campervan, the Ellastone. A versatile model, it came in first place for Camper Vans under £43,000 in the Motorhome Design Awards.
The Ellastone boasts a rather similar design to the Birchover. It seamlessly blends traditional styles, modern techniques and innovative ideas. Check it out here for more information.
Runners-Up
Along with these impressive winners, the VW Cromford and the Nissan Dalbury each earned a noteworthy mention. The nifty Dalbury came in second place for Micro Motorhomes in the Motorhome Design awards. Meanwhile the luxurious Cromford, with it’s alternative layout, came in third place for Van Conversion between £47,000 – £52,000.
